I am a simple country girl at heart. I love my jeans, my sweet tea and my morning walks. Success, for me is not measured by financial wealth but in the moments when we can enrich anothers life. As a freelance photojournalist for my community newspaper also, I am able to spotlight the positive influences people of my community are making. Highlighting their achievements and accomplishments each day is a wonderful journey. Photographing since my early teens, I learned to appreciate the details of life through my lens. The challenge of capturing butterflies in flight, baseballs in mid air, cars racing past, smiles and expressions of family and friends that linger only momentarily were my motivation. I've never been artistically challenged by staged studio prints or posed images. I tend to lean toward the spontaneous unpredictability of the moment and feel those images make the best photographs. After becoming a wife and mom, my children became my daily studio where I wanted to relive every moment of their lives again and again. Their precious laughs and blown kisses, their daredevil moments and antics, and of course, every achievement along the way.

Having been blessed with the ability to share my passion with others now, my desire to make a difference by providing a service that brings joy and happiness to others is spiritually gratifying. It also affords me the opportunity to help others in many ways which blesses my spirit and fills my soul.

TIME is so elusive that it cannot be stopped for even a second and moments that you are spending now will soon be history. Through the art of photography, we can freeze those moments forever. As time passes, what a blessing that those important moments in our lives, of loved ones and special friends to remember, achievements and events in our life that bring such joy can be told over and over again to future generations. Your Life Story is your unique Legacy. Like your fingerprint, it is not the same as anyone elses on the planet! I'd love to be the trusted Artist that you allow to weave the pictures that will become your life story. Like a Journalist or Writer who captures a story in print, a Photographer can tell a story in a single image.

God's world is my studio. In todays hectic lifestyle, so many people rush through their day never stopping long enough to appreciate the simple things in life. Everyday as I begin a new day, I am reminded of Gods awesome blessings as the sun rises. Birds chirp, the wind blows, flowers bloom. All over the world, people just like myself see the SAME sun with all its magnificent color rise up to begin a new day. Each evening at sunset, God again paints the sky in vivid color for us to enjoy. Most people take these daily ocurrences for granted. However, I believe it is a reminder to be thankful every day. Often, as I walk or drive the streets of my little hometown, I appreciate these "details" which are often the focus of my work.
